Everyone give a hello and big thank you to David Guadarrama who has volunteered to be our first IAS Mentor. He is in his 2nd year of medical school and is mentoring one of our 2022 scholars, Yanira Luna-Perez.
We pair students with a mentor based on their career interests. Mentees can ask questions from people who have already walked the path they are on. The goal of the IAS Mentorship program is to prepare students as much as possible. We are not just here for someone’s start. We are committed to doing everything we can to get them past the finish line.
