It’s A Start is an organization devoted to promoting equity and providing opportunities where they are not currently abundant. The organization supports education and has provided over $5,000 in higher education scholarships. It’s A Start also leads efforts to close the educational gap by providing students with tutoring, mentorships, and other resources from community leaders and fellow scholars.
We strongly believe that no individual should have to limit their potential due to financial barriers. Our ultimate goal is to provide a greater impact to more families by gradually narrowing and eventually eliminating all inequitable gaps in our recipients path to higher education.
